Happy SITS Saturday sharefest.

My cousin David was a Vietnam vet, forever changed by the war. He suffered serious bouts of depression and anxiety. We lost David in his forties after a serious accident, but miss him always.

It is a shame that people don’t give more recognition and respect to the brave men and women who served our country in Korea.

I don’t think people can even imagine what your dad and other veterans must have gone through. All we can do is empathize.

My dad was in the forgotten war — Korea. Sounds like they had similar experiences although the Korean War was certainly a different time than the Vietnam War era.
