I stayed friends with a girl for three years just for her grandmother’s latkes. Yes, I am that terrible of a person, and yes, the latkes were that amazing.

I love that you cook Jewish food! Seriously, who doesn’t love a good latke, brisket, or steaming bowl of matzoh ball soup?!? You’re so right…Bon Appetit is a great resource for all things Jewish-food. And, I would like to add, so is my Culinary Icon – Ina Garten/Barefoot Contessa.

Confession: Each year in December I make my family a Jewish meal. We love it.

The funny part of this is that we’re Catholic.

I started cooking dishes like latkes after college, around the time I started subscribing to and reading about Jewish food in Bon Appetite. Those who haven’t tried the dishes you are recommending, Aimee, really have no idea what they are missing.
